Your personal trainer at Forest Coaching will start with an initial evaluation (90 min.) During that time you will:

What's the difference between personal training and coaching?

We often use the term interchangeably at our studio because many other people do as well!
 
In our experience - personal training is an opportunity to get exercise programming, accountability and inspiration weekly or multiple times per week. Coaching is the deep dive into your belief systems and resulting habits to help you address and move forward with sustainable change.

How do I know if I should do group or personal training?

If you have some experience with movement or strength training, group training sessions can be great fit! They are budget friendly, create greater accountability and create great results!
 
If you're experiencing pain, are still feeling uncomfortable with exercise or prefer more privacy, personal training might feel like a great place to start! These sessions are also more personalized and more easily shifted to meet you where you are on a day-to-day basis.

What is a session like?

You'll always start with a quick check-in with your trainer/coach to establish how you're feeling that day and how we can best serve. From there, we'll typically get a assess your gait (watch you walk) and do a varied warm up to get your body and brain communicating and feeling ready to work! 
 
We'll always have a personalized training program set up for your goals, adjust it for your energy that day and make sure you leave feeling strong, calm and ready to tackle your day after a quick warm-down and breath session.
