FAQ

Can you diagnose or treat these issues?

Nope! We're not doctors.
 
We're just really specialized personal trainers with a lot of experience working with clients who have diagnoses like Hashimoto's, Fibromyalgia, Ehler's Danlos and Chronic Fatigue. Our work is to educate, assess and reassess exercises and movements based on what feels good in your body and empower you to create the type of change you're looking for.

How are you different from a PT?

We don't do tissue work, manual mobilization or modalities or diagnose conditions. We're exercise-based and just work really gently and with a LOT of education in anatomy, physiology and the neurology of pain.

What is a session like?

We'll always start by checking in to see how you're feeling that day, and begin with some gentle breath work or movement to ease you in.
 
We'll work through a series of gentle corrective exercises, stretches, breath work (and probably some stuff for your eyes and balance systems!) to help your brain and body feel more connected.
 
Sessions end with talking through things you can take home and ensuring you feel calm and strong as you walk out the door.

How do I know it will work?

You don't. BUT. We can tell you that we have seen a lot of clients struggling with chronic pain and chronic illness find healthy, happy ways to move and exercise and - often - live pain free.
 
We can also tell you that we're committed to walking with you on your journey. When we don't see change happening the way we would expect, we call on our amazing network of local healthcare colleagues to continue to work toward a plan of action that leaves you feeling empowered and in control of your experience.
